Easylock Rope Clutches (Halyard or Sheet Stoppers, or Line Jammers) have been in production for over 25 years, and now come in 4 varieties to fit most any application. Years of extensive testing and refinement have resulted in a series of strong and extremely reliable Clutches that are reasonably priced.  All units are designed to be mounted with the handles forward to minimize the possibility of inadvertent release. The Easylock 1 is one of the simplest and oldest designs still available, accommodating 1/4" - 3/8" (6mm - 10mm) line by use of a reversible handle.
Suitable for most applications on boats to 28' LOA.

Line size: 1/4" - 3/8" (6mm - 10mm)
Safe Working Load: 660 lbs. (300kgs)
Dimensions: 4 1/4" (108mm) long x 15/16" (24mm) wide x 2 9/16" (65mm) high.
    On ganged (Multiple) units each clutch will add 13/16" (21mm) in width.
Mounting Fasteners: 1/4" (6mm) FH
Mounting Hole Spacing (Single): 3 3/8" (86mm)
Mounting Hole Spacing (Doubles): 3 3/8" x 13/16" (86mm x 21mm)
    On ganged (Multiple) units, additional holes are 13/16" (21mm) further apart.
 

The Easylock Mini features the special Powerlock system to minimize rope slippage during clutch engagement. Pressing the clutch handle below horizontal during the final tensioning stage causes the cam to engage more quickly, reducing engagement slippage to an absolute minimum. 
Suitable for most applications on boats to 32' LOA.

Line size: 1/4" - 3/8" (6mm - 10mm)

    On ganged (Multiple) units each clutch will add 1" (25mm) in width.

The New-style Easylock Midi features a patented twin clutch system to minimize rope creep and wear even with Spectra and other high-tech lines in higher load applications. 
Suitable for most applications on boats to 40' LOA.

Line size: 1/4" - 1/2" (6mm - 12mm)
Safe Working Load: 1,600 lbs. (700kgs)
Dimensions: 5 1/2" (140mm) long x 1 13/32" (36mm) wide x 3 1/8" (80mm) high
    On ganged (Multiple) units, each clutch will add 1 1/8" (28.5mm) in width.
Mounting Fasteners: 1/4" (6mm) RH
Mounting Hole Spacing (Single): 3 1/4" (82.5mm)
Mounting Hole Spacing (Double): 3 1/4" x 1 1/8" (82.5mm x 28.5mm)
    On ganged (Multiple) units additional holes are 1 1/8" (28.5mm) further apart.

  *** Note: When replacing Old-style Midi clutches with the New-style units, mounting hole spacing is identical for single clutches, but is 1/16" further apart on ganged (Multiple) units.

Used on America's Cup, BOC boats, and other large yachts, the Easylock Maxi features a unique mechanism to minimize rope friction with the handle closed, providing superior performance when trimming high load Spectra and other advanced synthetic lines.
Suitable for most applications on boats to 70' LOA.

Line size: 3/8" - 5/8" (10mm - 16mm)
Safe Working Load: 3,080 lbs. (1400kgs)
